After the unmatched success of the first Chefs Edition in 2016 and later in 2021, Davidoff and 5 Chefs from all continents are back at it with the Davidoff Chefs Edition 2025.
In 2025 the highly anticipated Chefs edition will be unveiled, celebrating the innovative and pioneering spirit of Davidoff and 5 distinguished Chefs from around the world with a total of 11 Michelin Stars:
Paolo Casagrande (Spain), Christian Bau (Germany), Kirk Westaway (Singapore), Nick Bril (Belgium) and Michael Beltran (USA).
The blend:
While the blend includes signature Tobaccos that can be found in Davidoff's iconic white band collection, Davidoff's Master Blenders went the extra mile to clearly elevate this blend in terms of taste and age. Amongst others the blend includes:
- Dominican San Vicente visus that was aged for 15 years.
- Hybrid 98 Dominican
- A Mexican binder
- Dominican Piloto Seco specially aged for 5 years in Yagua Bales*
* Yagua Ageing:
This traditional method involves carefully wrapping the tobacco in natural Yagua palm leaves, a palm tree native to central and South America. The fibrous leaves allow for more refined ageing that enhances the cigar's smoothness, sweetness and complexity. Every bale requires miticulous hand-wrapping and close monitoring. Because all Yagua leaves are locally sourced and the time-sensitive nature of this process, production is limited. The Chefs Edition 2025 is the only Davidoff cigar featuring Yagua-Aged tobacco to date.
